Winter is here

My humans have been sick for a few days--both of them! It means a lot of lying around the house, sleeping. Not that I mind, but it makes for a pretty boring blog. Hopefully soon I'll have some new adventures to report.

More household coziness

My humans have a thing for new rugs, you may recall. Something about being clean and free of dog hair. Anyway, I like this new one a lot. It's very soft and I can really spread out on it. Plus I think it's a good color for me. What do you think?

My backyard nemesis

This squirrel--and a lot of others--comes into my backyard every day. They drive me nuts. The glass door is all smudged up from where I put my nose up against it, watching their every move. I would chase them if I could only get out there!

Weekday treat

One of my humans has been away the last couple of days, so the other human is trying to find ways to keep me busy and entertained. This morning I got a big treat when we went to my favorite local park and played fetch. Or as I like to call it "chase", since I never actually bring the ball back. (The human needs exercise too, you know!) It was very warm and sunny, there were lots of dogs there. I hope we can do this more often, before she goes wherever it is she goes during the day.

Holiday Recap

It's been great couple of weeks here. My humans have been home with me so much! On Christmas we visited part of our pack up in Massachusetts--they had snow there. (Check out my fancy Christmas scarf!) Then we went to see more of our pack in New York. I got plenty of good presents and treats.

We've also spent time doing other things that I like, that my humans and I don't normally do during the daytime. Like going to the dog run....



...and household chores.



We went to visit my friend Lexi this weekend too. We played and played until we were pooped!



Yesterday was the last day of 2007. My humans took me to the park near our house in the morning, and I had a great time playing with other dogs and chasing my ball. Look at all the dirt on my face!



Then last night, before my new year's resolution to "be the best dog I can be" kicked in, I celebrated on my own while my humans were out. Baci: 1, bunch of bananas sitting on the kitchen counter: 0.
