Banana-bana-fo-fanna

Last night was really funny. One of the humans came home and puttered around and didn't go in the living room for, like, hours. And then she did and found this:Yup, I dragged a bunch of bananas off the kitchen counter, gutted 'em, and ate 'em. They were good. I like bananas.

Snow!

It snowed last night--I love to eat snow. I taught my friend Mickey today how to eat it, and he DIDN'T LIKE IT. What a weirdo.

Dog park dash

Today my humans took me up to the big dog run on West 72nd Street that has trees, wide-open space, and lots of mud since the snow is melting here. Mud is awesome. I ran and ran and ran and played with other dogs until I was pretty tired. Then the humans took me to get my nails clipped. Not at all as much fun as the dog park. But at least it was warmer than it has been--just ask these dogs. Spring is coming!

Outward bound

Today I went with my friend Mia (her human has a car!) to New Jersey's Palisades Park. It's so cool--we get to run up and down mountains, in forests, and today I almost got stuck in a ravine. (I wasn't scared.) I slept all the way home. Here's an action shot of us on the move: And here's me, surveying the landscape, wishing it was warm enough to go swimming:

Shoes are dumb

My humans think this video of me in my stupid snow boots is hilarious, but it's really just embarassing.

Happy Friday

Today, my humans decided to stay home with me, which was great. They still spent time on the computer, but at least they were here! We went for a pretty good-sized walk in the morning, then at noon they took me to the dog park and I still got to play with all of my friends!!! It was awesome. After that, naptime. I wish every day was like this.

Is this thing on?

Hi everyone. My name is Baci--though I think you know that already. Since I have such an active social life, my parents agreed it was time for me to have my own blog to tell you all about everything I'm up to every day. Anyway, a little background: I'm just over two years old, I live in New York City, and I like to rip up paper and chew on anything made out of wood. Before I moved in with the parents, I lived here, at New York City Animal Care and Control But that was only for a few days, before I got adopted. You should check out their site--maybe you'd like to adopt one of the dogs on there too?
