And then this weekend...

My humans were on another tear of cleaning the house. But this time it was actually fun because they gave me my WHOLE TOYBOX to play with!

Then at lunch I had some salad. I love salad.

I wonder what tomorrow will bring...

This was last weekend

The news of late

There really hasn't been any. One of my humans is away for a day or two, and he took the camera, so my post about this past weekend will have to wait til the pictures come back to us. In the meantime, me and the other human have been taking some good walks lately around the neighborhood and in Central Park. I've been eating well. I met some new people. And that's about it. I'll report more soon, but just wanted to say hi to you all for now!

Father's Day Weekend

This weekend we had plenty of adventure. Yesterday we went to see our pack up in Massachusetts which was great--I got to eat a lot, and I played with a puppy. We drove home through thunder and lightning, but I didn't know it. This is what I did:

Then this morning me and my friend Mia got to go to the Palisades. We walked and walked all over rocks and vines and fallen trees and streams, and then we finally got to a little beach. It was all worth it!

A book review!

A nice lady sent me an e-mail asking if I'd like to review this book on my blog--I have hit the big time! So she sent it to us and my human has helped me check it out.

I think this is a good book for a new dog owner--there is a lot of helpful information about how to choose a dog, how to take care of your dog, and how to train your dog. And tons of neat facts like I have only half as many tastebuds as a human does.

What it's not great for is finding out what might be wrong with your dog if your dog is doing something weird. For example, if your dog has tummy problems and you go to that section of the book, it will tell you all about how it got upset and what it looks like, but not what to do to about it. That said, if your vet diagnoses your dog with something, then you'll be able to look it up and read all about it, so that could be really useful.

In short--it's a big book and very smart looking, and it might be a good addition to the library for a new pet owner who wants to know everything about their new friend!
