The new old place

Hi everyone--it's been a busy week, and I'm sorry I haven't posted. My humans and I moved! It happened very fast, but I am so happy to be back in our old building and our old neighborhood. I smile all the time when we go out for walks.

Speaking of which, they walked me A LOT last week, and this weekend. During the week we did a bunch of errands together, going to Best Buy and Bed Bath and Beyond and even Banana Republic! (I was fascinated by the mannequins there--they're like real people...but not.)

On Saturday morning we went to Central Park to play in the snow before running MORE errands.

Then on Sunday they took me on a nice walk along the river to the dog run on 72nd Street.

After that I went to get my nails cut (not fun) and I spent a lot of time snoozing in the afternoon.

When the apartment is tidier I'll post pictures of me in my new habitat. But the human says I can't do that yet. Talk to you soon!

You won't believe this

My doggie friends, my humans tell me we are going to move again! We're going back to our old home, which I am excited about, even though I'm getting a little stressed out about the moving part. I didn't really like that last time. Wish us luck!

That time of year again

It's time for the dog show! I hope my humans get home tonight in time to watch the grand finale. I'm going to root for the beagle, if no labs are in the final round.

Winter is here

My humans have been sick for a few days--both of them! It means a lot of lying around the house, sleeping. Not that I mind, but it makes for a pretty boring blog. Hopefully soon I'll have some new adventures to report.

More household coziness

My humans have a thing for new rugs, you may recall. Something about being clean and free of dog hair. Anyway, I like this new one a lot. It's very soft and I can really spread out on it. Plus I think it's a good color for me. What do you think?

My backyard nemesis

This squirrel--and a lot of others--comes into my backyard every day. They drive me nuts. The glass door is all smudged up from where I put my nose up against it, watching their every move. I would chase them if I could only get out there!

Weekday treat

One of my humans has been away the last couple of days, so the other human is trying to find ways to keep me busy and entertained. This morning I got a big treat when we went to my favorite local park and played fetch. Or as I like to call it "chase", since I never actually bring the ball back. (The human needs exercise too, you know!) It was very warm and sunny, there were lots of dogs there. I hope we can do this more often, before she goes wherever it is she goes during the day.
